ICC Water and Health, UV-Team-Austria, Testing of water disinfection plants

The Water Hygiene Division of the Medical University of Vienna and Wassertechnikum Wiental operate one of the world’s four type testing facilities for UV disinfection plants, jointly with Vienna Waterworks (Municipal Department MA 31), the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna and the Austrian Institute of Technology. Apart from UV disinfection plants, we also test the effectiveness of substances or other technologies for the disinfection of water.
